KingKing Von King Von, whose real persona is Dayvon Daquan Bennett was born on August 9 of 1994, in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Taesha. As a child of his mother, he was the third child of three, and from his father , he had six half-siblings. Since his father was spending so often in jail, Bennett was mostly taken by his mother. Bennett's father was shot and killed. taken to the hospital when Bennett was only 11. Bennett went on to spend his 16th year inside a prison. The incident marked the start for a series of interactions with law enforcement. He was awarded college credit at South Suburban College. To try to reform himself following further legal troubles, Bennett began pursuing his musical career, and was collaborating regularly with his fellow rapper Lil Durk.Although "Welcome to O'Block" was the only studio album Von released during his lifetime, a posthumous album entitled "What it means to be King" was released posthumously in the month of March 2022.
