Miss Columbus 1985, kissing her crown following the victory over every other contestant. The victory allowed her to compete at the Miss Georgia contest in June 1985. On June 22 Mohr was the winner of the tournament. Mohr went on to compete for Georgia in the Miss America 1986 pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey on September 15, 1985 following her triumph. Despite the success, she did not place in the Top 10 for national title.
